I bring you greetings on behalf of Delta Upsilon Omega, the Seattle Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. It is truly an honor and pleasure to host each of you this evening at this extra special event.  We are honored that you have joined us to celebrate this momentous occasion of the Centennial Celebration of Alpha Kappa Alpha and 75 years of service to the Greater Seattle community. Your contributions and support of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated - seattle Alumnae Chapter and our foundation, Dynamic Urban Opportunities, are greatly appreciated and we thank you for your support.

Congratulations to the Talented Tenth honorees, Susan G. Komen for the cure Puget Sound, the Seattle, African American Comfort Program, and the Seattle Vocational Institute Dental Assistant Program.  Your service and vast contributions to the African American community and beyond are to be commended.  Without your energy, passion,  and continued efforts in the health and wellness fields,  our community would not stand as tall as it does today. 

As Alpha Kappa embarks upon our next 100 years,  we resolve ourselves to continue to be of service to all mankind and proactively address the ever changing needs of our local national and international communities.  The Seattle Alumnae chapter looks to continue its local efforts,  build upon existing and create new and productive partnerships,  and be a consistent,  timely  and committed resource to our Seattle community.  Thank you for joining us this evening and we hope you enjoy the festivities.
